According to Allhiphop.com, rapper Slick Rick will no longer be deported to the UK! Governor David A. Paterson of New York has granted "the ruler" an official pardon today. Due to Slick's run ins with the Law while in the states in 1991 (attempted murder and weapons offenses), a federal statue claims that extradition of a lawful resident is required if "convicted of an aggravated felony or weapons offense." Slick Rick was born in the UK and entered the United States (raised in the Bronx) legally at age 11!
